Wash Bags

Here's my first wash bag all finished. I'm rather pleased with it actually!
Now just a few finishing touches to the bunting and the whole order is finished and will be in the post to a happy customer.
On to the next then!
Approx size 23 x 25 cm. Cotton and fully lined.

Too many ideas

Does anyone else suffer from too many ideas spinning around their heads and little time to explore them all?? My little head feels like it will explode with at the moment with nowhere near enough time to get to them all. It can be sooo frustrating!! Watch this space as hopefully some of them will unravel amongst the new orders I have to complete.

Pink Cat

Heres a little kitty I had done for Halloween a while back and have re-coloured her. Now she's all pretty in pink. I'm thinking she's a great shape for an applique kitty on some of my products.

Little Florals

Here's something I made earlier.

Plain pink girlie bunting

Here's some of the plain bunting I was making last night. It's 5ft 6" and has 6 flags.(this photo I know shows a few more than 6, there's the start of another there too). I can accommodate any length and colour or theme on request. This one is a mix of new and recycled materials backed with good quality felt trimmed with lots of lovely ribbons and bows.

Cat toys

Well I think I posted before about trying out my birds a a cat toy. Laura took one home last night and tested it on her 3 lovely cats, Emerson, Tabitha and Lily. They loved it so another 2 to do.... with a couple of tiny modifications. Here a few snaps from her phone.

Halloween weekend

Well I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween or a scary one??
Heres one of the Mr Pumpkin's in the local pub 'The Rabbit's Foot'  Ardeley,Hertfordshire for the aftermath the next day. He looks like a friendly one to me.

Lily Ladybird

Its Friday at last!!!! what a long 'ole week it' s been this week. Have a fantastic weekend and a Happy Halloween everyone. I should have drawn some pumpkins to go with the lady bird but....

I don't get chance to play about and experiment with characters very often...which means I need more practice. But here's my starting point with a new one...what do you think.

Birds and Suffolk Puffs

Here are the Suffolk Puffs (or yo-yos to some of you) I attempted tonight they came out smaller than I was expecting but fine to use for decorating some of my little items and great for a first attempt in many many moons. I tracked down some step by step instructions at Burda for anyone who wants a go themselves.

I've sat and cut out plenty of birds tonight they are pinned and ready to go. I also made up a tester one for my friend Laura's cats. I'm going to make her some for cat toys but we need to test if I've put enough catnip in the stuffing. Here she is, a pretty little pinky spotted one.

the crafters companion

Yay!! my other book has arrived and now I'm all inspired!! The crafter's companion landed on my desk at work today from those nice little Amazon people. ooo it's got me wanting to do lots of nice new things....so little time and so many things to do. Here's a few little snaps to give you the idea. I'm rather jealous of some of their workspaces....I will get mine....eventually. For now my lounge will have to do.

Bunting and bows

Beth has been doing a grand job keeping our bunting and bows website up to date and refreshing it. We are constantly adding and changing our range of products some you will have seen here some are new. Why not pop over and have a look.

This week's cushion projects!

Here's the first cushion of the week. The other is still work in progress.
There's a cupcake on the back like I've done before on some bunting. The other one is rather very different to this cushion. It's a cushion for a christening I'm going to this sunday For my little cousin, Abigail.

Fungi and autumn rivers

I've been rather a busy bee this week, works manic and I've had two cushions to get made. Nearly there on those I shall post piccies.
I took some photos the weekend before last that I didn't get chance to post. I took some photos of this fungi I've been eyeing up for a couple weeks watching it grow. I thought it looked fab! Then we popped into a local village called Ware and parked up by the river.
