Flowers from the weekend

Just wanted to share a few of my favourite shots from the weekend.

Sasha and Ella prints

I had a lovely phone call from the happy customer who received these today. They are a present for her daughter who's just had twins. I hope she likes them too.

New - Union Jack cushion

This is the front, well a sneaky peek it's still in progress of a custom order I have in. It's a Union Jack with a bit of a twist using a mix of floral and dotty fabrics and a slight take on the proper colours. Watch this space finished article in the next few days.

Funky damask....

a new take on an old tradition.

Wedding birds

These little birds finally flew the nest today. They have been sitting waiting for the perfect customer to buy them. I embroidered the lovely couples names on them last night....Valerie and Dean. Here they are before and after the front is all whites and the reverse has a hint of gold too.

A slice of sibling

I had this little job to do for one of my oldest friends. Her and her sister have just started a new business making lovely yummy cakes. both of them are fantastic bakers and cooks and I know they are really yummy. I designed their business cards for them yesterday and here it is...
If anyone would like some more information about them please go and find them on their facebook page here or contact them using the details on the card shown. They are based in the Canterbury area in the south east of Kent. They make cupcakes of many different flavours and styles and occasions cakes fab for birthdays and anniversaries or any special occasion you can think of.

Here's the finished product...only half cut out though. Not the best photo in the world either ...sorry.

I was lucky enough to go to a breakfast meeting with Giles yesterday...it was at Paradise Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Not only did we have a fabulous breakfast and a guided tour we then had the opportunity to stick around all day so we made the most of it. there we some lovely animals and we had a little woodland train ride...here are some of my favourite photos.

cute little red pandas

The zebra patterns are stunning, mother nature can be amazing can't it?!
the lemurs had someone in there to feed them, like an experience day. these little babies were loving it.

The handbag nicker....

snow leopard's feet... how lovely
The wolves we are a howling....

the light was a bit bright so we were squinting but I still like it :)

James' print

My lovely friend Lois moved out to the States a few years ago to work and met a fab guy called charles. They got married over here last June and have now had a beautiful little boy called James. I've made their present for him, hope they like it....what do you think?

Finley's bunting

I was really pleased to get another boy's bunting order.  I seem to get more girls orders to do for the bunting so it's fab working in a different colour. The camper van theme continues too, my lovely customer wanted a camper on there somewhere so here are the results...
