Morning folks, I've been working on a lovely brief, taken a while to get it right and there's still time for it to change again. Sadly I can't show you the designs, but I wanted to show you a sneak peek of a liitle bit so you can get the idea of what i've been up to. here it is.

Hi Folks

Sorry it's been a bit of a busy couple of weeks. Lots of different work on, which is good but keeping me distracted from here. I've got lots of photos to upload and show you but never seem to have quite enough time to sit down and do it.

Here's a close up of a little design project I've been working on for a customer. There's several products and It looks like this is going to be a reject. Still waiting to hear. Thought I'd share it with you. I've enjoyed sitting making Suffolk puffs again. I'll find a link to show you how to do them if you don't know.

Lavender mice

I made up these little cuties last night. I want to make more (I like them coming to life from bits and pieces of scrap fabrics)......but better see if they sell or not first.

Thought they'd be great to put in your drawers smelling all nice and lavendery, don't you think??

I shall try them at the fair tomorrow and see how they go down. Any opinions appreciated. Thanks :)

CJ'S bunting

Here's CJ's bunting that is off to Australia, so excited to have a piece of my work going so far :) Thank you Angela for the lovely commission. Angela wanted no bows so it was lovely buttons all the way. She sent me photos of the room it was going in and a bit of a brief which stated Route 66 and she also loved the camper vans so heres the result. Hope you love it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Daniel's Heart

I had this little commission to make something special for their friends new baby. I put his name and the date of the little new arrival on one side and a D with a pretty bow on the back. It's got lavender mixed in with the stuffing so it smells lovely too. Approx size is 18 x 10 cm.

I had a lovely phone call from the happy customer who received these today. They are a present for her daughter who's just had twins. I hope she likes them too.

New - Union Jack cushion

This is the front, well a sneaky peek it's still in progress of a custom order I have in. It's a Union Jack with a bit of a twist using a mix of floral and dotty fabrics and a slight take on the proper colours. Watch this space finished article in the next few days.

Here's what I finished last night

Pretty little purse a commission from my facebook page and I'm off to a wedding on sunday...hopefully she won't check here. this is the present I was working on. I'll put up some photos next week. fingers crossed the weather stay glorious like it has today.

Harry's Laundry bag

Here's Harry's laundry bag. He loves it and he even asked his mummy if he could wear it??!!.... How cute :)  I have a matching cushion to make for him too and a nice more girly one for his mummy. I really enjoyed making the camper van and was rather pleased with my results.
