Frosty spring sunrise and pretty purple plumage

Lovely spring is here everything is growing, starting to bud and bloom. Though there's still crisp frosty mornings which are nice as you get lovely sunrises. The crocuses are out see the pretty purple ones below. This rather lovely hydrangea I brought last week for my mums anniversary. Isn't it beautiful?! Hopefully it will grow nicely, its supposed to be an indoor one.

My new jug

Claire and I stumbled across this lovely collection today at lunchtime and we just couldn't resist buying a Gisela Graham jug each. We found it at a bargain price too!!

I just loved the pattern and ofcourse got drawn to all the little birds. I also brought the little bird ceramic disk, which has love your garden on it.

Brisk January walk

I spotted this pretty and unusual looking fungi on a tree when we went out for a walk the other week. I liked them anyway. oh and this gorgeous tree root that was overturned, it must have been blown over at some point I guess.

I've just stumbled across this tree I did for Rachel's wedding a while ago now. I designed it for her table plan which I think I may have posted about before. It was all die cut out and framed, all the tables were hung on little tags it did look lovely.

Trees and Mushrooms

Out on a little walk I came across these beauties......as we know autumns here well and truly and it's starting to feel rather wintery already. I love the colours of the trees and caught this one in bright sunshine which made some great shapes on the trunk. These little mushrooms looked great too.
